💻 Techkey Bluetooth Adapter 4.0 USB Dongle for PC - Wireless Receiver for Stereo Headphones, Laptop | Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Raspberry Pi Compatible Review

Worked immediately (after installing the included software) on my desktop with Windows 7 Ultimate x64. The software is supplied on a minidisk but can be downloaded if required. I love the dongle's low profile and can say it connects securely to my Anker Soundcore headset. TECHKEY makes great products and I will keep them at the top of my list.

At first I wasn't sure if this would work on my Windows 10 in conjunction with my Airpods, Xbox One controllers and PS4 controllers. After I connected the device, the Bluetooth icon appeared without having to install a driver. Then I connect all 3 devices without error. My desktop doesn't have bluetooth so this is a great addition. I'll test it on my Windows 7 machine and report back with an update.

This Techkey USB Bluetooth PC Adapter is great! I bought several others before finally finding this one. Other brands I tried connected within 2 feet of me and I couldn't send the file to my computer. I bought this techkey and FYI if you use Windows 10 you don't even need to have the software installed there, it's completely plug and play and downloads instantly after a very simple installation, and sending and receiving files is great now I can send photos, documents etc. from a PC to a mobile

Do not buy this product if your computer does not have a CD. They provide a legacy Dropbox link as an alternative to downloading drivers/software. The link is "banned" in Dropbox. I'm also quite tech savvy so I went online to try and find the driver/software via forums or alternative means and the internet is full of people putting malware in packages for this thing. Overall my experience with this product has been incredibly disappointing and it's clear whoever runs the business has this thing

Addendum: At the beginning everything went well so I was satisfied. Third use and no longer works. What you should know as a consumer is that many low reviews are told to ignore those reviews. You're right! If you open it and read the instructions, you will have to guess or risk and use the Windows 8 driver for Windows 10 because there is no driver for 10. Here's what to expect from this crap. You plug it in and if you're lucky, Windows 10 will install a driver for it using Windows Update. Plug in a device (headphones in my case) and everything seems to be working. Then the following happens: The Bluetooth dongle completely disables the USB port, your USB controller or your computer.
