I was a little concerned that the vest might get wet on your shirt and pants, but once you wring the vest out it's fine. Her shirt felt slightly damp.

Vest for my daughter (she doesn't know how to regulate body temperature) in the heat. I was a little concerned that the vest might get wet on your shirt and pants, but once you wring the vest out it's fine. Her shirt felt a little damp, if anything. I've actually experienced it a bit myself and plan on getting one for myself when I'm mowing the lawn or working in the garden. My daughter uses it when she's at the playground and she doesn't even realize it. She has it - she stays cool and I'm not

I tried it on and it's really very light and keeps me warm.

Bought this for my boy who has trouble regulating his body temperature. He also has autism. I was worried if he would take it off right away but he kept it on a hot summer day and helped him get used to the hot weather. I tried it on and it's really very light and keeps me cool.

All is well. My review

My daughter rides horses and we live in the desert so she needs it in the summer. The problem is you have to get it so wet that it runs all over the clothes and gets everything wet, or there isn't enough water on it and it will dry up in minutes. I guess we'd better wet her shirt before we ride.
