Simple and effective memory upgrade

I upgraded my 12 year old Dell Precision 390 workstation with two TECMIYO kits (4x2GB modules) replacing the original 4GB ECC memory. I asked the vendor if all the modules had the same chip count and speed, and they quickly confirmed. This memory is not ECC. I've had all Samsung. I can't afford a new PC so this was a really nice upgrade and easy to replace. So far very satisfied. Good performance. As described, good for internals

I have a home build of an ASUS M3N72-D motherboard on July 25, 2009 with an AMD Phenom IIx4 processor and only 4GB of RAM. Although my ASUS book says it requires up to 8GB of RAM, it isn't.
