Great motivational tool. This will take things off the ground. I really like the grip because when hands get fat and greasy you can still hold them with confidence. Good value for money.
I managed to break this hammer in half. Opened a ticket for Tekton support. I didn't ask where I bought it. I didn't ask what stupid thing I did to break the hammer in half. Just sent me a replacement hammer which arrived the next business day. Great experience overall.
This is a hammer. Nothing to say. Appears to be well built. However, the black color of the hammer head is just a thin plastic coating. It scratches/flakes off very easily. I bought it to play hammer hits, so you often miss a nail and it falls right off the case.
Slightly larger than a regular hammer, but with the weight and face of a (small) sledgehammer - I like it. I haven't used it much yet, but it's definitely my go-to when I need to hit a little harder than a regular claw hammer can.
I use this little hammer all the time, most of my hammers are mini sledgehammers but I resent using 6lb sledgehammers for small things. I have bought Tekton tools before and like all my other purchases this one was great. The rubber grip is falling apart but I use it so much and it gets covered in grease and oil and fuel and everything so it's not a big deal.
Looking for a lightweight hammer under 3lbs for general use and for use with a hand striking tool. I have several other Tekton tools and am mostly happy with them, this one is no different. The hammer is balanced decently, didn't fall apart on me and the finish doesn't ruin that easily. I would say buy. It may be a few bucks more than your local store, but they also feel, fit, and are better made.
I have a heavier short handled sledgehammer and of course carcass hammers and various rubber mallets but this little guy is the perfect size for specific jobs. Just yesterday I hammered this into the end of a 3/8" ratchet handle to loosen some caliper bolts (it wouldn't fit a longer brake rod) and it's a great weight for that. I bought this to help rebuild the front end of a Volvo V70 wagon and it was great for loosening the tie rod ends and ball joints. Good weight, good length and I reallyโฆ
I love this sledgehammer from TEKTON. The grip is very comfortable and the fiberglass is very strong and helps absorb hand shocks. The hammer looks great and works great. I use this hammer all the time when I'm working on tie rods in an auto shop. After a few good taps on the steering knuckle, the tie rod will pop out. I love this hammer and would recommend it to anyone. I've recently purchased a very large number of TEKTON tools for my personal toolbox, which I use in automotive, farming and a
