The plastic on the grips and grip has already come loose or has holes. The retention of the springs is higher than expected, which is good, but 2 of the springs have already shown signs of rust within a few days of use - garaged, not outdoors. decent price but I don't expect these to be lifetime tools

I'm tired of buying those cheap plastic bag clips you see at the grocery store. These always break. So I tried these. They also work great with dog food sized bags. Good strong spring and durable steel. I also bought a set of smaller similar clips for potato chip bags etc. It turned out to be a good investment. I should settle between the two sizes for life and save money in the long run compared to cheaper clamps.

In case anyone didn't know, these are clothespins! When we lived in the Midwest, our pompous victories simply laughed at our flimsy clotheslines and stupid, traditional-looking wooden or plastic clothespins. I've given up using a clothesline for anything. After repeatedly finding my clothes scattered all over the farm and clothespins buried in the grass and weeds, broken; I knew I had found what I was looking for when I saw these 4 inch steel spring clamps.
