Description of TEKTON Socket Extension 3 Piece Set: Ultimate Tool for Easy Socket Reach and Versatility - SHA90004

Includes 3-pc. 1/4 in. drive extensions: 3, 6, 9 in. Knurled band provides grip for starting or turning loosened fasteners with fingertips. Polished, chrome-plated finish easily wipes clean and is highly resistant to corrosion. Beveled drive end helps guide extension smoothly onto drive tool. Four detent grooves offer a secure connection with the drive tool. Radiused corners inside the drive avoid stress concentrations that can cause cracking. Spring-loaded retaining ball latches into sockets and holds them securely in place.

GREAT FOR THE MONEY

I gave it a 3 for durability and clarity. I've only had them for a week and have used them several times. So longevity is questionable. I use it as a home improvement. You must outlive me. The BEST part is the grooved area for gripping in tight spots. It is very nice. A good product.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Damaged

The tekton is no longer the same.

So far these extensions seem great. I didn't notice any bend on them. The finish is good. I like aggressive rolling. The fit and finish is just as good as the trucks. I needed them because I'm at school and forgot all my 1/4" extensions and was pleasantly surprised with the quality.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • The packaging is ugly

The quality of the new Craftsman tools leaves a lot to be desired. A real shame. Tecton is what I buy now. Some Tekton tools are made in the US, but most appear to be made in Taiwan and China. I wish they were all made in Canada or the US. However, the quality of the Tekton appears to be good. Tekton is now…
