Good for the price but not great overall

I bought 8 of these scanners for stock and inventory control. Works well but does not scan well. You have to find the "golden dot". If you need something that can handle QR and 2D codes, this is good for the price. If you only need 1D scanning and need a fast scanner, get a 1D laser scanner as it works much better. Works great

Product works well. The guide is enough to get you started. The only thing that wasn't clear in the instructions is that if you only want to use a USB port on your computer to power the base, you need to plug the USB dongle into the charging dock and not your computer and download the data stored on it charging station. An excellent scanner if you only have old firmware, otherwise it's a toy.

UPDATE: They just gave up trying to fix my scanner problem. I will not reply to my emails at all (3 emails I've sent from December 31st to today.
