I personally don't use multiple computers at the same time, but I may need it in the future. I think you should really get this KVM switch if you want to reduce your desk clutter and increase your productivity and speed. When using USB-C, the monitor randomly goes black for one second. HDMI does not have such problems. This breaks the usability of USBC for me. There is no response from the manufacturer. To return. My husband loves this KVM switch. He has a home lab with several computers. Before he had this switch, he had to constantly change inputs on the monitor and have multiple sets of mice and keyboards. The cables that came with it were good and he wished there was a way to install the switch.

It works and handles 4k@60 correctly. It's thin so it looks good on the underside of my desk. I was disappointed that it doesn't provide power over USB-C so I still have to plug in my laptop but that's no big deal. Slot C is active, connected monitor never sleeps (permanently sleeps/wakes up). I have contacted the manufacturer and they are aware of the problem but have not come up with a solution yet.
