Perfect for popcorn tops

I had to patch a 6 inch hole in the top. I searched many products in different stores but they all had bad reviews. Then I found this set! See the pictures to see how well it fits into an existing popcorn ceiling (used on "The Drywall Plug", a great product in its own right). The kit contains everything you need and is reusable. Highly recommended!

It's messy and can't get any better than these 4 little areas

This thing is great, can't put a hole in the wall with it, but it will wear you out and its bloody messy prep area well or will you it a wet rag the consistency of the mixture i would say a little moister than pancake batter this is my 3rd or 4th purchase of this item and i have never broken one someone needed it more than me i think , because she disappeared, they sell here Hausdepoe 5 stars

Returned. Wouldn't buy Agsin!

Not so good when it was full of drywall dirt. Limited. If you just don't throw anything at the patch it will work, but not well. Don't try to cover more than a square foot. A few things have been changed, previously used and they were ok. Now it's not so good. Invest in a funnel and pistol for 50. The result is worth the extra cost. hp Not new here

A big dirty headache

First of all, the instructions are terrible! But until you figure it all out, it's not worth the hassle. The drywall mix was so watery I had to buy something else. Even then it flows and drips everywhere. Almost doesn't squirt. I literally leaned over the drywall to let the dirt land on it. You better throw mud at the wall with a giant brush or something. Save money and pass it on.

Difficult but works

Bought a premix because I had three plots of 18 sqm. feet each. It took a very hard knockdown to match. I find it best to use on medium but dilute the premix a bit with water. There was a lot of dripping and it was a real workout because there was so much space to do. It worked even though you didn't have a compressor. It would be a lot more expensive if they used canned food. It was hard to let it dry before patting it off for at least 10 minutes for my heavy texture. The gun dripped heavily…

Read the instructions carefully and you will be fine.

The only downside to this is that you get a popcorn ceiling texture. It's easy to use, I recommend using scrap cardboard or drywall to test it out, or just spray a small amount onto the area you want to touch up. If this is not the case, you can remove it with a damp cloth. I was very impressed with how it works. According to the instructions, a water bottle should be used. It doesn't say how many ounces of water should be in the bottle. I started with 8 ounces of water, I had to add more to…

Pretty cool, for fairly small specific uses.

This is a specific rating for a particular repair. If you have an old school house from the 50's-90's (or just before stains and orange peels became popular) and you have a bunch of holes and touch marks, DON'T SMASH AND BUY A BUCKET FROM A PREMIX KNOCKDOWN I made and learned the hard way, so this device is designed for small specific touch-ups, presumably with the help of the powder it contains. Other textures I've tried were either too thick to flow through the nozzle properly, or had to be…
