Bought this bucket on 4/24/17 (6 days after it became available) and have used it for just about everything you'd use a bucket for. I've hauled rocks, shells, plants, dirt, tools, cleaning gear, mucky shoes, soggy swim/river gear, water.you name it, if it can be hauled in a bucket it's probably been hauled in this exact one.If you need an all purpose, easy to store, easy to tote bucket - do yourself a favor and get yourself one of these sturdy and yes, friendly, buckets. :)

I really like this pail. I was concerned that it would not hold it's shape if the pail was less than half full but it did! It WILL tip over and spill if the surface it is on isn't pretty close to level. Love the cover - keeps tree debris out. Pleased with this purchase

We bought the 10 liter Friendly Swede collapsible bucket, & found it exactly as described: folds down to about 2”, the lid fits snugly, the handy finger pull assists in emptying, it stays erect when filling, but does drip some when full with the lid on, the carrying straps do tend to fall into the bucket when filling, though they can be detached, and the mesh tool pouch clips on. No complaints.

I took a chance on 4 of these buckets based on the photo and description. i picked this container over the others online because it had a lid as well as a mesh baggie and looked sturdily constructed. Having received the product, I have now had a chance to see and handle it. I’ve been putting light stream sand/gravel in it so people don’t think I am prospecting where I shouldn’t be. I do not classify/sift directly into this but into a plastic 5gal bucket. Then I filter down and pour into this bucket. People see you carrying a filled 5gal bucket and start asking questions. I carry this and no one notice. Has been a great bucket! I tie it to the back of my pack and it hasn't worn down as far as I can tell. I've hauled shellfish back with me and the shells don't seem to scratch the material at all. The clip-on mesh pouch has never fallen off and is quite snugly secure when scooping up seawater, even with stuff in it like large shells. Help save the Kelp and harvest some Uni today!

A good item to have. It will hold the water and is water proof with a lid and collapsible easy to clean. The only thing is it will collapse with water in it the bucket. Must pay attention to how much water goes into the bucket.

Tried out this bucket last night along with my handheld shower for camping. Perfect size and durable. Very thankful for the lid because I purchased this bucket with the intention of filling it up and letting it warm in the sun for awhile to use for showering. May buy more for when the need arises.

This collapsible bucket not only has a charming name, it's also very useful. I used it to hold my shrimp/fish catches last summer and it can hold a surprising amount. The one issues I found was that the lid can be a bit of a pain to fit back on and if you aren't caring around all that much in the bucket it tends to fold back in on itself. Otherwise I'm very satisfied with my purchase!

Worked better than expected, I have no room for a traditional bucked, so this one collapses nicely to fit almost anywhere. Also easy to use and holds some shape when needed.

It was good in the fact that it could hold 7 gallons however it isn’t sturdy! I had to secure the handles with a bungee cord to a branch to keep it from collapsing. Plus the cost is more than other similar options. Not recommended.

The Friendly Swede Collapsible Bucket is a well built product. The material is light and durable at the same time. I have tested it by filling it full of water from my bathtub and there were no leaks. Recently just used it for shopping and it works well if you're purchasing a couple of items. I recommend it.

Works well and sturdy enough. When full, you can't set it on much of a slope or it will spill out. Its great on a flat or near flat surface

We used this collapsible bucket for the first time this past weekend while camping. We found it so useful that we knew we could use a second one as well, so I ordered another one today. It's the perfect size to carry extra water to our camper to use outside. When filled it's not too heavy and the lid is a perfect addition to keep the water from sloshing out.

Funkiness-a definite 5 Star. I'm getting everyone on my list one for Christmas. They're just cool. My wife uses hers to carry food back and forth to work or to picnics. I use mine for driving trips to carry a towel and soap into rest stops because: you never know.

This product is well built but you have to make sure that when you use this item especially when camping that it is placed on a level surface/ground as it can easily tip to one side and spill the water.

This is exactly what I wanted! Ordered a medium sized bucket in black. It arrived on time & very well packaged. Very well made too! I take it camping with us, fill it up with water first thing in the morning, let it sit in the hot Texas sun all day and, by the end of the day I have hot water to wash my face & hands or wash & rinse dishes or do a little bit of laundry! Sadly, on our last trip, I left the lid at the campsite- hoping I can order a replacement soon!

bought it to hold camp shower water. It worked the 1st day. But the 2nd day, it collapsed with water in it. I thought it was my boy being careless. So I tried, and it collapsed again. The problem with this bucket is that it has no frame/rigidity. it depends on the things you put in to stay up right. water being so fluid, any tiny imbalance and it just collapsed. Returning it.
