Apparently all swim goggles fog up in a relatively short time. That being the case, why spend a lot of money on them? These are relatively inexpensive, and come with three nose pieces, so they can be adjusted to different-sized faces.One gripe: It's not easy to change the nose pieces. Even the model in their "how-to" video seems to struggle with it a bit. It's been a while since I've swam competitively, but I recently started swimming again for exercise. I looked for the highest rated goggles that resembled the ones I used to compete with and picked up two pairs of Friendly Swede Swim Goggles. So far, I've swam in them a few times and they've been just as good as, if not better than the ones I used to compete with. I haven't had too much time with them just yet, so I'll update my review down the road, but I doubt I'll have any issues with these.

I swim laps on a daily basis and have owned and loved Friendly Swede goggle for a long time. During recent trip my pair was lost and the only goggles avaiable at local sports store were a Famous Name Brand. Having come down with a textbook example of Bell's Palsy with a left eye that will neither blink nor close until facial nerves regenerate and heal, these swim goggles are perfect for keeping soap and water out of one's eye when showering and washing hair. Four stars for the product and the fifth for the customer service. Each pair of these goggles fit well, with no leaks unless I didn't have the straps quite right because of my hair. I have been using these glasses for last 2 years and they fit my eyes perfectly. I have done 1KM+ (1000+ yards) swim in open water lake so many times and i have no problem. Recently my wife took 1 of my goggles and now i am left with only 1. Super nervous i want to order 2 more of these goggles.Can someone help me to find an alternative .

These are nice goggles—not amazing or wonderful—but good, serviceable goggles. However, I was aghast at the amount of packaging they came in. I can't imagine it's really necessary for them to come in a hard case, with a plastic shape-holder-positioner, inside a plastic bag, inside a cardboard box. Why? I mean I get that the plastic case is a nice thing, maybe, but it just seems like something that will eventually end up in a landfill.

I didn't get these for free or for a discount. I just ordered on a whim for my children who are competitive swimmers. For the price, you can't beat it-they give you TWO! As for quality, it looks fine-like your average goggles you'll buy for double the price. I'm not sure about quality as my children haven't worn them yet but it looks to be a much better quality than the speedo's I got from Modell's for $24.99 for just ONE. There are two people in my house so I was fine to get two goggles. They fit well and make a huge difference for me while swimming. I have a small head, and the other person has a big head. I will say that they seem to fit me better. For him, the lenses cant inwards slightly. However, he also has chosen not to adjust them at all. I got these goggles about 2 weeks ago. I wore old school Swedes in high school and was looking for a similar fit for my lap swimming now. These are a fantastic upgrade from the hard plastic and string I wore years ago.
