So happy with this purchase -- the knives are great. I think they'll last a long time. They are sharp, have a good weight, and look great. Not loving the knife block. While it looks cool, the knives don't go in and or out very easily.

This set is stunning! I love the quality of knives without breaking the bank. If you have a knife sharpener that’s all it takes every now and then but you should be sharpening your knives anyways.

It is really impressive. The steel and wood look good. And it stays true to its stainless claim, the steel and wood look good as new despite my abuse and imperfect maintenance. The size and weight of the knife are perfect for general usage. And it doesn't strain the hand over time because the center of gravity is right where the handle meets the blade, making it feel lighter than it is.

By far the most used knife in the kitchen. Although a cleaver it is so well proportioned and made that we use for everything , including mincing garlic, slicing onions, tomatoes, bread whatever yet robust enough for regular cleaving of meat, gristle, fish heads etc. Able to maintain sharpness due to confluence of blade materials and manufacture of slender profile blade.

Received the cleaver as described. Comfortably sits in my hand. Cleaver was sharp but not enough for my needs. Sharpened it a little and is now what it should be. No negative comments at all for the knife. its a great knife for chopping .

Was looking for a good quality chinese chef knife to replace my wife's cheapo version. Looked online and went to my local Ranch 99 (Asian Grocery Store) to check out what was available. When I received the cleaver was sharp and I tried to cut the chicken wing and it bend so I not recommended for cut chicken or ribs. The cleaver still sharp but to cut meat and cho vegetables and fruits only

There is quality on the build of these knives and the look of the set is gorgeous. So glad we bought them. They come extremely sharp which is a bonus. Remember care and maintenance is everything to keep the knives in great shape.

Look at the pictures in the ad and then look at the customer's pictures in the reviews. Notice a difference? In the ad, the metal coil that is between the blade and the handle is one smooth curve, however, when I received my knife I noticed that it was notched like a lot of other knives. This is unacceptable, partly because I prefer a smooth transition from blade to handle. It's a good product for the price, but don't expect $50-$100 knife quality.The metal piece of handle is not flush with handle material, catching my hand at some points, making it unstable on first touch/hold. The knife material doesn't feel high quality and I expect difficulty sharpenening it with stone. Still better than other cheap knives I have.
