Compared to Scythe Mugen (one fan, also 6 heatpipes) my temperature dropped 3 degrees at 8700K with a 165W workload. Because of the two fans as expected, it performs slightly better at higher speeds. However, thermal fans are MUCH louder at >1300 RPM and they seem to move the same amount of air at 1500 RPM as the Scythe Kaze Flex does at 1200 RPM.
