Easy to bend. good for internal components

Overall good pipe, easy to work with. I bought this pipe because I ran out of acrylic. And PETG was readily available. compared to acrylic. It kind of hit me and it was unexpected. In the attached pictures you can see that my previous acrylic tubes show through nicely. And the radiator pipe is PETG. At least I know now. I will probably replace it in the future as I love the acrylic look even if acrylic is a little awkward to work with.

Pros
  • also understandable for old people
Cons
  • no

Before placing in the test tube, soak the insert in pure olive oil and heat the tube. This hose compresses the liner, no lubrication, and you can't pull the liner out! I tried spraying oil but it contained water and fogged up the inside of the pipe. Pure olive oil contains 0% water, so it does not fog up. You can also use a pencil to mark where the tubes are bent on the insert. Just erase the pencil mark.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Neutral color

V-Tubler Pro results at a great price.

I've been using TT V-Tubler PETG for a few years now. It definitely hits the right spot for a bargain value. It is easy to use, reliable and offers good visual clarity when handled correctly. I have used many different tubes over the last 4 years but I keep coming back to this tube for my 16mm builds. I have never had pipe ruptures and have never been able to endure uncontrolled thermal stresses such as 100°C GPU temperatures from pump failure and/or operator error. I use a pipe cutter for this

AVOID THERMALTAKE RGB

If you're doing a build with RGB theme, stay away from Thermaltake. I hate to say it, but I've never been so disappointed with Thermaltake. I run a 30 year old computer workshop and have used Thermaltake standard products with pride for many years. I will no longer stock Thermaltake in my store and will never buy anything in stock from them again. All manufacturers these days offer products that are so similar that they end up getting support and reliability. Thermaltake let us down with a…

Plasticizer warps and leaks

I didn't think this would happen to even decent quality PETG tubing. After using these hoses with Bitspower compression fittings (hand tight, no tools required), the hose ends are slightly bent. My loop started leaking after a month or two of using my computer and to top it off a small amount of green goo was collecting in my water blocks. It's not algae, I'm using EK cryofuel that has a biocide in it. I had to look around but obviously low quality PETG plasticizer can seep into the loop which…

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish
