They only seem to work on very tall pots as the clamps have little horizontal resistance. When you attach them to 4 liter pans, the thermometers tilt in the direction of stirring.

1. There are 2 packs on the package, but I only have 1.2 in the box. The clip is so weak that I can't use it on small pots, it just falls off.3. The clip is a bit tricky to set up.

Where do I start. Can be easy to clean, but the product does not meet any quality standard. Inaccurate because it moves too much, isn't stable in a pot, and isn't good for making candy. I haven't tried the deep fryer (not mine).

Got this thermometer and immediately decided to crack peanuts. It stuck to the pan very well and was easy to see while the candy was cooking. I observed the temperature and used the spoon falling filament method just to get an idea of the temperature sensor. I cooked the candy on medium and when I checked the candy thread it was about 6 notches below the temperature it was supposed to read. Overall I am satisfied with this thermometer. I recommend it to customers who want to buy it.

I set the little red arrow to 232 degrees and looked closely. When I thought it was taking too long, I tested the fudge mixture for consistency. It was already digested and the thermometer showed less than 200 degrees! A whole batch of fudge ingredients wasted.
