18 Ounce Pink Thermos Intak Hydration Bottle Review

Received a new water bottle, not the water bottle in the photo. The newly designed hinged lid clicks into place and is very difficult for adults to open and impossible for children. Our kids have been using the old version for years, but now we need to find something else. We are returning our purchase.

This water bottle is great to carry - After two years of daily use I finally got rid of my last bottle simply because I was tired of seeing the same colors and stickers over and over again. The only complaint I have is that the metal bar that holds the lanyard is a little awkward and sticks out a bit at times. I've had two of these bottles for a couple of years and replaced them a few months ago - not because of defects but because I have hard water and couldn't get white deposits off the caps anymore - but never found that deposit in them . I've never had bottled water splashes and don't know why some people get it. Sometimes I would "burp" them - opening and closing the lid - to get a little vacuum that got in the way while drinking. They come in multiple colors but note the green is slightly different from the others. If you look at the picture you can see the attachment loop at the top, it will NOT fold. On green yes, but the bottle is a bit smaller. The rest of the bottle is good. If I didn't need different colors I would just order green, it's more compact.
