Got pros: The complete set came in the whole package. It is too early to judge by performance characteristics, but calibration by standards is a fat plus. Screen backlight (night mode). With its cons: The device is quite difficult to put in a case. The strap on the device in the case could not be installed. I pulled the tied strap through the case with tweezers (Only my hands were not enough for this procedure).

Pros below: There is a backlight. The accuracy is normal (when measuring the same point +-0.005). There is a case and a carrying bag. Got cons: High price. If there were rubberized sidewalls, it would be even more convenient. Haven't found others yet.

Just received this unit today. The calibration process was easy and quick. I used the included Fe plate, the unit was shown as "0", use a transparent part and the unit shown (if it was set to mils), the number shown was within tolerance! Finally a device I can rely on. I recently bought an older MB that needed a fairly DEEP paint job to remove some heavy scratches and swirls. But of course I didn't want to risk it too deeply, because of the transparent layer. This device is very easy to use and certainly accurate enough for me. My wife's Honda had a bad paint job and I burned through the clear coat trying to fix it. After sanding and repainting I used this device to make sure I don't do it again! I was able to remove almost all of the orange peel without fear of burning through the varnish or paint.
