Defective after one year for flashlights and lighting accessories

Worked perfectly for about a year, then the brake light suddenly stopped working. Contacted the seller, he asked for a photo which I sent. Then they never responded again so we had to contact Amazon to get a refund. Low quality.

Great spare part!

The double sided tape was very sticky and once applied refused any attempt to move or move. Therefore, care should be taken during installation. Every other aspect of build quality, installation and performance was top notch!

Worked great in a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500.

Worked great in the Ram 1500 model 01. I tried another one from another company but it didn't work, the backlight stayed on all the time. .But this one has worked great so far, I've had it for about 2 months and no problems.

Much better looking than OEM

So far so good. Installation took less than 5 minutes, everything was just plug and play, and tape was supplied. After reading the other comments I would suggest that you don't over tighten as the lens can break easily and moisture can get in. Otherwise I am satisfied with my purchase and can say that it is a good deal.

Not bright at all - high mounted brake lights

Excellent quality foam body and gasket and the part fits perfectly. Unfortunately, LEDs are probably some of the worst I've seen in automotive engineering. During the day it's practically useless. I will send it back and just put the LEDs in my standard housing. Edit: I started a return but it took me about a week to get it off the truck and ship it. When I took it off the truck I found it was full of condensation too!

Part of the cake best in brake and taillight assemblies, parts and accessories

The hardest part was unplugging the original connector and removing the old glue from the cab side connector. The instructions indicate the use of a hand screwdriver, since a cordless tool can quickly and easily pry open the LED housing during installation. Examine the supplied gasket before gluing to ensure a good weather seal. Heed the warnings and you'll be as happy as I am. The white LED for the truck light is not very bright, but in this case I chose the LED for its longevity and low power
