Thorlos Womens J Max Cushion Rolltop Running Socks Review

Super comfortable, soft, fairly well padded sock. I ordered a size larger than normal because the big box stores socks after they are washed are just to small. I wear a size 8 1/2, even thought it says thru size 9. So I ordered a 9-11 in this sock. It was a bit to large until I put them thru the washer and dryer. Now they fit perfect. Would recommend these socks for anyone wanting a "padded" sock. The padding is not to thick, also I live in Florida where it stays hot. They have not made my feed

I had some Thorlos years ago and really liked them. I was excited to find these with the roll top. They are the perfect socks for walking! I walk about 6-7 miles a day and these provide a nice cushion along with protection for the back of my ankle from any shoe rubbing. I’ve purchased several pairs and will probably get more!

I like them. I've only run in them a few times but no runs, no drips, no errors. Too expensive to give a fifth star though. I like a lot of my socks and most are far less expensive. If I ever decide to pay this much for a pair of socks again it will be another brand. Any suggestions?

I am very pleased with my purchase because they are extremely comfortable to wear. The thickness actually accomplishes the claims, they feel like cushions. When just wearing them to walk around in daily activities they are great.I cannot give them a "five" star rating because when I wore them during golf games in parts of the country where it was hot and humid, my foot perspiration did not dissipate because the socks apparently did not allow the moisture to wick away from my feet. Love these socks! My husband says they are the most comfortable sock he's ever worn and boy does he wear them. He's purchased several pairs and gets nearly constant wear out of them for about a year, which I think is pretty good for a sock worn by a larger man who's on his feet most of the day. They are thick!

I love these socks because of the extra cushion. I don't wear them with shoes so I can't tell you what that is like but I love the padding for around the house. Feels great!

I am wedded to Thorlos. I like the roll better than my ones that are slightly higher, but the elastic at the top is tight and has a tendency to cut off circulation.

Got these socks to cushion my feet for walking. Wanted a low profile sock for cool comfort. I am very, very happy that I found these wonderful socks. Just spent several hours on my feet shopping an outlet store and I felt like I was walking on a cloud.

I'm used to running socks being thick at the heel and ball but these were super thick! I'm sure if that's what you are looking for these are perfect. I would have said the thickness was more suited for hiking, but that's just me. Otherwise they work well and don't slide into my shoe like some other ankle socks can do.

I have been buying Tholo running socks for about 30 years, and I love how they protect my feet from blisters and pad the impact. I also like the wicking properties the socks. They are a bit expensive, but this is one of those products that "you get what you pay for.” They hold up so well that I still wear socks I purchased 20+ years ago. It is important to use fabric softener on these socks and turn them inside out when washing to keep them fluffed up and comfortable.
