I never paid any attention to the material our sheets are made of until I decided to try it. We would immediately notice the difference! Much softer and more comfortable. Then I checked the tags on our old sheets to make sure they were a cotton/poly blend and remembered we bought them on sale at a department store. You get what you pay for. I will order a second set and then I will probably buy more as gifts. Definitely worth buying! Good service!

In the 3 months since these sheets arrived it looks like we have used them and washed them twice. On my third use, I can feel lots of scratchy pills under my body (see close-up photo), which is exactly what I *don't* want, a leaf. Super annoying. Here in Puerto Rico it is difficult to find quality cotton bedding sets at a reasonable price. And it's even harder if you want them to be black, which I prefer. I ordered this queen size Mayfair bedding set. Revain delivered them fairly quickly, although not as quickly as is usual in the United States. I'm picky about bed sheets. When I finished my masters, I needed a second part-time job to pay off my loans. I found a job at an upscale department store while working from home. It has spoiled me with cheap sheets. I think the best place for sheets is 500-600 thread count Egyptian or long staple cotton. Leaves with fewer threads appear rough. Sheets with a higher thread count may seem great at first, but the fibers are so thin that they tear and roll easily. They don't wear out or tear apart…
