5.8 liter cat free twin exhaust Windsor V8 sweet

start cat free twin exhaust no cherry bombs to swear out loud this muffler works for me in two ways not too loud on my 5.8 liter V8 Windsor engine.

Pros
  • test for a year
Cons
  • unreliable

Classic sound great price

I have a 5.7 Vortec (350). I welded two 3" pipes in place of the two catalytic converters and ran straight to Drozd. So basically straight down the pipeline to the Thrush silencer. I honestly love the sound. Definitely a high-flow muffler.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Great muffler fits parts

Received my muffler today and immediately installed it on my '97 Chevy Ext Cab 350 Vortec. I ride stock tracks and race cats, the audio is perfect for what I was looking for. There's a slight rumble in the cockpit, but it doesn't drown out my music. So, IMHO, an excellent muffler for the money.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Little things

Best value for money

As a professional technician I see many different mufflers coming to the store, usually Flowmaster or Magnaflow. Having bought several mufflers from each brand and then tried this one, I will never buy a more expensive muffler again. The quality of the welds looks great, the cost is 8 times less than the cost of threading, and it sounds great! No drone has a comfortable drone when idling and when you sit on it it sounds nice.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

Excellent muffler

Excellent muffler. I have a 2010 Silverado that used to have straight pipes and was almost ridiculously loud. Installed, the sound got better. Nice deepthroat sound like a truck. Acceleration and braking sound smooth, cool. Two thumbs up. If you have a small block truck with true dual mufflers, then this 2-input 2-out muffler is for you. This will give the sound of a muscle car.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Love everything about this muffler

Love everything about this muffler! Sitting on a near stock Chevy HD 6.0 with 4.10 gears, it's very close to the sound and growl of the #low@master 40 series, but at a constant cruising speed. it's not that loud! I installed dual 3.5" crampons and then rerouted to a 4" rear exit tube. In fact, I got 1mpg fully loaded with a trailer hauling rolled steel at 70-75 mph. The big 4-door HD gives me an AVERAGE 15.6mpg - 285/75/16 in all terrain, with the Escalade electric fan πŸ˜€ Not bad at all

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions
