Description of Enhance Your Gaming Experience with Thrustmaster T300 Ferrari Integral Racing Wheel Alcantara Edition Black
The ThrustMaster T300 Ferrari Alcantara Edition wheel in black comes with a 3-pedal pedal set to enhance the virtual racing experience. Software support allows you to connect the steering wheel not only to a PC, but also to the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 game modules. And thanks to the wired connection method, a high signal quality is maintained, which makes it possible to accurately perform any actions in the game. Due to vibration feedback, you will feel like a real racer
Pros
- Belt, brushless, easy to mount, no backlash and no creaks. Quality suede on the steering wheel. Power supply in the case. Ease of connecting cables. 1080 degrees. There are hot buttons for changing the degree of rotation of the steering wheel right in the game and turning on the cooling fan.
Cons
- And here is the steering wheel mounting bolt itself. If the steering wheel is planned to be installed only once and not touched again, then it is normal. But if you plan to constantly remove the steering wheel from the table, then a huge ambush awaits. Structurally, the fixing bolt is an ordinary bolt 12 centimeters long with a hemisphere-shaped tide in the lower part. This hemisphere is included in a similar anti-hemisphere (so to speak) in a plastic horseshoe, which presses the steering wheel to the table. The bolt is metal and the insert in plastic, which includes the sphere of the bolt, is also metal. But not steel! This is the friction coefficient of 0.02 for steel, and in this misunderstanding it is much higher. Therefore, after a few twists / twists, the surface of the metal begins to deteriorate and voila. In my case, a piece of metal came off, began to roll on the surface in the form of a ball, and the twist jammed. When trying to unscrew the metal, it did not smooth out, but began to spin in the opposite direction, the ball became larger and the wedge became "dead". I was lucky that the swivel gives some degree of freedom, the steering wheel did not press tightly against the table and I managed to pull it off the table. Well, after the horseshoe was released and the bolt easily turned out (the thread was not damaged, only the point of contact between the bolt and the horseshoe was damaged). Half an hour of work with a drill and cutter and the burr was removed and the insert was corrected, but the groove from damage remained on it. That is, with a new installation, everything will repeat. The solution was found in the toilet. There was a body from an old Bref toilet freshener in the form of two cones fastened together. With a clerical knife, I cut off the end of the cone to get a hole for the bolt and a second cut 2 cm further. The result was a conical nylon bushing, which I pulled onto the bolt to the sphere and which, ideally, because of the taper, has now become the role of a spherical gasket. All OK! So I advise you to upgrade this node immediately, in order to avoid .
Pros
- 1080 degrees excellent materials good build quality ease of installation
Cons
- A little strange application installation system, and its design. Stupid for 10 minutes until I figured out how to start it
Pros
- Nice cover, but with nuances After G27, completely different impressions, another level Made me love sim racing IMHO, this is the minimum starter set for at least some serious racing, and not just in Forza in the evening with a beer.
Cons
- Sheathing. Already after 200 hours of driving, the suede under the arms went a little bald. Outwardly, it’s not a crime, it’s not visible, it just became a little harsh. Otherwise, it looks elegant and expensive, it's a pleasure to drive. I do not consider it a disadvantage, but I decided to report it. Run with gloves. Overheating (!). I drive mainly in ACC + accffb, gain is 100% everywhere. In long corners, clipping and, as a result, overheating with loss of feedback. With ventilation problems, you can google a bunch of guides on replacing the cooler. When buying such problems were not. But over time it rolled in, I had to twist the feedback force to the maximum, maybe it was not enough, as a result, sometimes I catch overheating. Not critical in general, I'm still twisting the settings and looking for the perfect ones. You can ride 70% without any problems at all, but you want more. The pedals creaked the other day (2 months later) when pressed slowly, it is treated with shaft lubrication.
Pros
- Nice steering wheel, holding on to Alcantara is a pleasure. Connection is fast and clear. Buttons for PS4 are intuitive, but I would still like to make them a block.
Cons
- Broke after 7 days of use. I drove 10 hours in total these days.
Pros
- 1) Thanks to Alcantara, it's nice to hold the steering wheel in your hands; 2) The diameter of the bagel is no longer the smallest; 3) Soft, pleasant feedback; 4) Rotation angle 1080 degrees.
Cons
- 1) The main drawback is the quality of materials and assembly in general (see comments); 2) The number of buttons is slightly lacking; 3) Not much pedal travel
Pros
- Diameter 30cm. Brushless motor. Quality alcantara. 3 pedal block. Build quality.
Cons
- There is none of them.
