Buy Logitech g29 or Fanatec CSL instead! SERIOUS!

Don't buy this junk if you are a decent racing sim. This review is based on my experience with the Sims Assetto Corsa and Gran Turismo 6. It will fade noticeably after 30 minutes of use, even with the fan on forcibly. On lap 7 at the Nürburgring, I feel like I'm driving a fast and furious arcade machine, I can't feel the steering wheel at all. This is particularly evident when using Formula 1 cars, in my case F2004. As soon as my best Nürburgring lap time comes on lap four, it drops from 4:51…

Take a closer look at Logitech.

This is my third T300rs base, the first to have bought individually rather than as a kit. The first two had the same failures, conveniently just outside the 1 year warranty window. It's suffered a new setback, an even more disappointing setback and it's completely dead. I've contacted Thrustmaster and I've been playing their very unprofessional game for about 2 weeks which has included arguing with me and also telling me that all 3 Computers on which I tried to do the firmware download…

The only and best upgrade I've had in a long time

Coming from the Logitech Driving Force GT, the T300 is a big step forward. I received the servo base along with a Ferrari 458 Challenge steering wheel and T3PA pedals. Considering it's brand new, the dual-belt drive brushless in-wheel motor is the smoothest I've ever felt, and its spin is more than enough for those looking to drift. I can literally feel the wind in my hands as it spins. I can't say anything about the durability of this wheelbase, but I'll definitely take care of it and test it.

Smooth power racing wheel for serious simulation games.

I replaced Logitec G-27 with this Thrustmaster VG T300RS base. I found a $262 base that comes with no wheel. I settled on my wheels of choice, the Thrustmaster 599XX EVO 30 Wheel Add-On Alcantara Edition and the Thrustmaster f1 wheel. I mainly use the T300 for iRacing. It's a much better choice for serious iRacing, with more power feedback, smoother handling and better road feel. Changing what you've been using takes some getting used to, so give yourself a week to get used to it. In iRacing…

I'm very happy with my T300, although I wish the case wasn't so big. Removing the top cover could have saved Thrustmaster a lot of space with a little effort, making it a lot easier to fit the odd case into a dash assembly like my own. Instead I had to cut out the dashboard to fit the T300. I think I have nothing to complain about, but if there was one I would switch; that's all. The ability to swap wheels is very handy, but as I often swap between a lap and F1 wheel I would like the connecting
