🚴 Thule Wheel On Bike Mount: Convenient and Secure Bicycle Attachment Review

I bought a fork mount for a Swagman truck and the Thule wheel on it fits perfectly. Great product that I would recommend to all my friends and family.

Great new design, love how the wheel locks to the bottom of the stand and prevents the wheel from spinning in mid air. Had them (2) in Thule with aero bars and now I use them on a rack that mounts in the back of my truck.

I used this to hold my mountain bike tires after a ride. What do you expect from Thule? Well, the workmanship is definitely good. I'm actually happy with this product - I have two that I bought at the same time. Ideal for cleaning dirt/grime from the interior or trunk of a car after a trip.

I wanted to buy the previous version of the bike carrier, but I didn't. It was easier but I've been using it for a year now and haven't had any problems. This version prevents wheel spin by allowing the wheel to slide into the slot. It's great, love that I don't have to put a dirty wheel in. Automobile. but seems a bit pricey for what it does. That's my only reason for the -1 star.

I bought this item to drive about 1000 miles on the road. It collapsed before we reached our destination. The silver colored metal part was not designed or manufactured to withstand the wind blowing on the roof at high speeds. It broke in half and my bike nearly got stuck in the creek behind me. Luckily I managed to stop before I lost the bike. I cannot recommend this product.

I am using this holder on a Yakima stand. I had Yakima wheel holders but couldn't tighten them enough on the handlebars. Four bolt Thule allows me to tighten the brackets so they don't rotate on the handlebars. I also like slots that allow you to set the tire against the anti-skid feature so the wheel doesn't spin like crazy when you're on the freeway. It's also easier to adjust the angle on the bracket so you can put it up in the wind when not in use.

I purchased this item online. What a great product. I use these wheel forks in my 2004 Ford F150 Flare Side pickup. They are attached to the trunk of a truck. I've had many shelves over the years. Everything Yakima. I was a bit hesitant to buy a Thule shelving system. However, I must say that it is a well-made system and works very well. I bought the 593 wheeled roof rack mainly based on the reviews I read here on Revain. While this is a quality device that works well, I wish the mounting bolts/nuts were hidden after installation, similar to the Echelon bike mount they make. This device can easily be stolen. The other issue is that the locking screw for the levers doesn't really lock them in either the vertical or horizontal position (for storage), they can still be pushed down/up with some force.
