I'm an engineer with decades of experience in industrial design. I only buy bearings from brands I know and use. Timken bearings have always been known for reliability and excellent quality. This bearing fits and works perfectly. I expect to use it for many years.

Made in Korea, way better than made in China. Good fit and finish, smooth rotation with the normal resistance expected from the fat inside. I'm not sure how long that will be - I can't say yet. Thank you Timken for not just making it in China. Chinese bearings are junk. I would be even happier if it was made in the US or Canada, Japan or Europe.

We originally replaced the front bearings in my son's car (Scion XA) with cheaper third party bearings, but a year later one of them wore out. I had to research because everyone warned against using the cheaper ones. These Timkens should be of better quality and so far they are! While they're also made in China (I'm not sure if they are), I understand that Timken has their own quality control wherever they make.
