Tisco 8N12259 Ignition Wire Set: Ideal for Ford 8N Side Distributor Review

They fit exactly as they should. Perfect length for my 8n side spreader. Replaced old rotting cords on my old workhorse.

The cables we have are too long and some hang down the exhaust manifold. I didn't like the coil wire with the straight sleeve, it made installation difficult when the gas tank was so close. Ninety degrees on the coil wire would be better.

I bought these for my 1952 Ford 8N Tractor. I was happy to see the wires say Made in the USA. I did not expect this. The wires were a good length and had enough flexibility (unlike the old crispy wires that came on the tractor). The tractor ran rough, but after installing the new cables, it runs better than ever! Tip: When installing on a tractor, you will need to temporarily remove the rubber boot on the side of the cable splitter so you can route it properly through the tractor cable holder.

I bought these wires for my old Ford 8N tractor that I own. The old ones were gnawed by chipmunks or squirrels. I have seen these Tisco wires and that they are made of copper wire. I bought them and noticed that they are heavy duty and have a copper core. I took them out of the box and installed them directly onto the motor and distributor cap with no modifications. They worked perfectly. I would recommend these Tisco wires to anyone who needs to replace them on their tractor.
