A couple of them broke or trying to open the clips broke them and became unusable. They are fine now as I only plan on using them to hang my child's next size up clothes but I doubt they will last very long with normal use.

I don't know where they come from or what they are made of but when I opened the package they smelled awful! Some rotten chemical skunk smell. I was planning on using them to hang baby clothes - I would never want them to touch my baby's clothes. Don't waste money.

I was concerned they would not match the Ikea Flat Black Hangers I have because they are not the velvet hangers they are meant to match but they do fit and actually a little loose They slide over them but they hold the harmet very well.

I hang a lot of my work clothes on velvet hangers to dry and couldn't find a solution for skirts and trousers. They fit perfectly on these hangers and will hold even the silkiest of materials so they don't fall off! It will shed a little when worn on hangers, but this is not critical.

I bought these to carry around my felt baby hangers and to hold all my little shorts and pants. If you want to buy them for that, get them. I'm so glad I did! They charge extra and can scratch the felt temples, but I'm not too upset about it. Something handy I made so you could actually use them was clip 4 on a baby hanger and use 1 clip to hang a pair of pants so they hang down at an angle for better use! It was perfect for the little summer shorts and pants I bought for my boy.

Many years ago I replaced all my hangers with thinner velvet dresses that stayed in place, except for skirts and dresses that needed clip on hangers. I didn't know they existed until someone who had something on loan in my closet told me about them. I immediately went to my "go to" - Revain - and found her. I'm so happy! Brackets work as stated and expected BUT the clear plastic packaging of the brackets ended up being opened in the Revain box it came in with other items. The clip card they were attached to was missing five clips. I found two missing clips in the Revain box, but three clips were completely missing. So I only got 21 of the promised 24 clips. These are incredibly attractive compared to the hodgepodge of clips and pins I've used before and oh how perfectly they match Revain's gray velvet hangers! But that's superficial praise, as the set I received doesn't open wide enough to be really effective on many types of clothing.
