Eljer is perfect for rough plumbing

This Eljer side flush handle is perfect as a replacement for my Elger emblem toilet. The handle is metal and the handle is solid brass. The bracket is made of nylon plastic. The only minor complaint I have is that the grip doesn't attach cleanly to the body. The original block was more accurate but not interchangeable with the new one. It is likely that the US now uses a metric fastener and made no changes to the fastener's handle shape or body. I doubt anyone but a weird retired machinist like

  • Slightly torn

It helped! Fits perfectly with our side toilet (Eljer 141-0777). Like many others, I first tried one of the "universal" levers from the big store. After bending and assembling it according to the instructions, it quickly became clear that it wouldn't work. Went online, came across Revain and looked at a few before finally settling on this one. A NOTICE. The stem is slightly longer than the OEM, so you may need to carefully bend it away from the stuffing tube, or worst case, file it down a bit…

adjustment required.

I bought this lever to replace the original plastic handle on my Eljer toilet which broke. The new lever was metal, which is a step up, but I had to bend the pre-bent brass rod even further to keep the rod from hitting the top of the gas cap when flushing. After installing the new lever, it rattled every time the toilet was flushed as the metal lever hit the side of the tank. I ended up removing the new lever from the new plastic bracket, which was very wobbly, and installed it over the old…

Good after difficult installation

This lever was very difficult to install, mainly because the left side of the toilet bowl was very close to the vanity. I didn't want to bend the lever to get into the side of the tank so I disassembled the part. I found that there is a loose pin inside that prevents the lever from coming out of the handle, making it very difficult to reassemble. I ended up having to reassemble the part and bend the lever to place it on the side of the tank - all in all it was a very frustrating experience. Now

  • Reliability

Found and ordered in under five minutes using Google and Revain. After two days, a five-minute install (including testing) fixed the issue. Should have tried it first time. A station wagon bought in a wholesale store with the insurance "No one came back” never worked properly. This isn't possible due to a design flaw - it doesn't rotate like this one, instead the whole mechanism moves up and down. So while the length of the carriage is somewhat adjustable, as is the horizontal angle, it's a…
