Eljer is perfect for rough plumbing
This Eljer side flush handle is perfect as a replacement for my Elger emblem toilet. The handle is metal and the handle is solid brass. The bracket is made of nylon plastic. The only minor complaint I have is that the grip doesn't attach cleanly to the body. The original block was more accurate but not interchangeable with the new one. It is likely that the US now uses a metric fastener and made no changes to the fastener's handle shape or body. I doubt anyone but a weird retired machinist like me would even notice the difference.
