🚽 Toilevator 51105 Toilet Riser: Elevated Toilet Seat for Enhanced Accessibility Review

I'll be back. My plumber found it impractical to install a flimsy object to support all of the weight that would be placed on it with regular use. Sounded good, should be iron or porcelain.

Purchased this item for my mom who is wheelchair bound and needs to be taller than ADA chair height. This item has increased the base by 3.5 inches as advertised, no eyesore and very easy to install. I'm thankful this product exists and I hope more people can find it when they need it! Be sure to measure the base of your toilet as this version is only 23.5 inches long and some toilets require the Grand version.

This is the second purchase from Tolievator (I like the name). This is the only product we have been able to find that will reach the desired height and still allow the use of an "old style" toilet that flushes in one cycle. The product requires the use of two wax seals on each end of the extension tube. Fantastic item. I am an elderly male with bad hips and knees (arthritis) and getting up from a normal height toilet can be difficult even with a handrail. Now with a riser it's gotten a lot easier. I love that I can keep the regular toilet seat which I find much more "comfortable" than one of those padded seats. The jack of all trades installed it in under an hour with no issues. I fitted this and it raises the toilet just fine. But I was very disappointed in the quality of almost all the parts. The base is plastic and slightly worn. The supplied bolts are not stainless steel but the nuts were rough cut - one nut was damaged and didn't work at all and had to be replaced. The wax rings are very thin and one broke in half when I tried to carefully remove the plastic.
