Good buy for accessories

I never bothered to buy one of these because my car has a built in GPS. I just moved across the country and decided to buy it for a long trip. I definitely recommend it. Now my phone doesn't slide off the passenger seat if I brake too hard, and I don't see text messages without a distraction. This works very well.

Useful - Accessories

This works great with my Sumsung Galaxy. My phone stays, and it's not hard to get it. The only minor complaint, which may have been human error on my part, is that the handle once detached from the vent and fell off. But since I tightened my grip, he no longer did. Next time I might buy a dashboard because I'm not so keen on blocking my phone's vent when the other person is in the car with me.

Air outlet clamp is too loose. otherwise it works fine.

I bought this to replace a similar mount that only had a cam lever to attach the clip to the air vent. He often slipped. This one has a clamp screw which I thought would provide a more secure fit. Well, it's gotten better, but it still slips sometimes. The clip should be a little longer to reduce this trend. Otherwise I'm satisfied. Good smooth action and good phone grip.

Very handy: car accessories

Pretty decent phone holder. My last holder was a suction design and the heat from the sun melted the rubber on my dash so I definitely didn't want that guy around again. This connects to the ventilation slots. It keeps the phone pretty stable and I don't have to worry about melted rubber. The only problem is that due to its size, it blocks one of the vents. It's big enough for a Note 8. I'm sure I won't have any problems with blocked air vents in winter weather. In any case, I can ignore this…

Still working, may block your audio port

I would give 5 stars but it just wasn't compatible with my Samsung Galaxy A21. The audio cable hole is blocked by two small grips that hold the phone upright. BUT it was ok because I could still slide my phone into the holder and plug in the audio and charging cable. The phone mount stands firm and won't sag in such an odd position. Works best if you read all instructions!

Easy to install. When I found that I had to twist the yoke as tight as I could, it held onto the vent perfectly. However, after only 10 days of use, I can no longer adjust the angle up or down. It can't support the weight of my iPhone XS and the phone falls and the screen faces the seat instead of my face. Very disappointed. Exactly what I was looking for

I have not given any stars for suction or stickiness as this product does not use suction cups or glue. But the bleed pins are secure and the product itself is solid and well made. I especially like phone holders on the air vents as they help keep the phone cool in direct sunlight as excessive heat destroys phone batteries. But back to the rating.
