Had high hopes for these pajamas. I ordered a size larger for comfort. The bottom is narrow and the top is very large. The elastic around the waist is uncomfortable. In terms of texture, these have to be the roughest, toughest pajamas I've ever worn. It's more like wearing a plastic hazmat suit. I washed and used fabric softener before use but it didn't help. Maybe they will get softer after many washes.

Love the fit, the color and 100% cotton. The white trim looks very nice. One thing though, when I cut the tag off the tag on the collar, one side of the collar came off. I always try to buy cotton to sleep in, but the material of these pajamas was hard and rough. It was more suited to flour sacks than a good night's sleep. My husband didn't even try them on! I loved the style and the fact that they aren't striped or checked and I ordered three sets. But after opening one and then washing to see if it got soft, I sent the other two sets back. Loved the fit alone, needs a wash to soften! I was afraid that the top would be baggy (I have a 34" chest and a 43" length) and the bottom would be flooded. Not so! Great color and fit. I was also worried about living in Hawaii and just sweated about it. They seem light enough not to sweat, I can upgrade. So far I'm happy with the fit and length of the top and bottom and for the price I'll keep them!

I should have known how bad they were when I touched them to pull them out of the plastic sleeve. They looked like cardboard. And they wear like cardboard. Rigid, hard, not at all the kind you want to sleep in. They are also too small and I deliberately ordered one size larger than usual.
