This hair dryer had been very little use for about 8 months when it started smelling like burnt plastic when I touched it and pressed my finger to the side. Melted Plastic. Seller contacted, no response yet. This is a terrible product and you should be warned against buying it.

I am a Hot Tools fan and have been using this product for many years. This hair dryer has a handle and outer shell that are so sticky I literally had to wash my hands with warm soapy water to get the sticky substance off. It's like holding the sticky side of packing tape. It is possible that this is a defective product and this is an exception, but I have returned it and am planning to buy a different brand. I like the size and the weight.

1) As with other reviews, I (and my husband) agree that it's not quiet. 2) On High/Hot, this hair dryer ALWAYS takes my hair to dry (it's only 1600 watts, I'll use 1875 watts with my next hair dryer). I like the length of the cord, that's a plus.

Light weight, compact size compared to others, convenient switches with multiple control settings and comfortable grip. Attractive appearance and shape. I use a warm setting that delivers a good amount of heat with minimal damage to my hair. (I always buy hair dryers with a warm setting option.) As far as low noise levels go, this item is pretty loud. It has a muted volume that produces a more penetrating sound than the more muted sound of previous hair dryers I've bought. It's like a hair…

I've had this hair dryer for three years now, which doesn't feel like very long. It's coming out. It switches from blowing hot air to blowing cold air without changing the settings. It also sparkles randomly, which scares me that my hair will catch fire. My old hair dryer wasn't advertised as "quiet" and was quieter than this one. If you set your hair on fire, annoy your neighbors with your loud screeching and just want to live on the wild side, this hair dryer is for you.
