perfect for VW head bolts.

VW seems to have been trying to circumvent the mechanics of shade trees for the last few days with stupid special tools which, oddly enough, they won't sell you. it worked great on my Passat 2.0T FSI 07.

Suitable for Jetta 03 2.0 head.

Fits 2003 VW Jetta 2.0 engine. No problem. if you have a problem (as some have claimed here in the reviews). that's them. Give your car to someone who knows what they're doing. Good product. (:

Good work. on bolt cutters

Used on my b7 2006 Audi A4 2.0t to remove and install head bolts. ALWAYS USE NEW SCREWS. Also, don't think about adjusting the rear cam with it. For this you need a short 10mm polydrive. But with the head screws it worked great.

Excellent purchase. for hand tool

Good quality tool. Fits perfectly on the head bolts of my 2002 Jetta 1.8T. I was generally late with my car repairs but because I didn't have this tool and my schedule didn't allow me to work on my car until the next week after I received it in the mail. But definitely a great purchase and good to have on hand in case I blow my head gaskets again.

Wrong tolerances, started cleaning the head.

Bought to remove the head bolts from my 2008 GTI FSI, cleaned the heads, installed the tool properly, started torquing and found it slipping. Noticed a slight wobble and the tool doesn't fit properly. Came right back and bought the W83182 performance tool which fits 100% perfectly on the head bolts, so tight and tight absolutely nothing moved and I was able to unscrew all the bolts with no problem. This tool would definitely loosen the screws which would give me a massive headache. Maybe it…

A great tool if you are unfortunate enough to work with a VW AEG engine.

I'd like to deduct one star because I had to use a stupid special tool for VW cylinder head bolts, but this isn't a test of German cars, it's a test of a tool. This tool was awesome for just one task it was designed to do. Of course I did a fantastic job on the rest of the heads too by removing the hex bolts, the difference is that normal heads can be used in more than one place on the planet.
