More useful than expected

I bought these to clean the extrusion nozzle on my 3D printer. But it's one of those multipurpose tools that you might not have guessed needed for a multitude of things. I had a brass fitting that needed fresh tape on the threads, but I was having a hard time getting the old tape out of the slots. Then I remembered I had these brushes and one of them quickly solved the problem I was struggling with. Since the bristles are brass, I didn't have to worry about the threads breaking. Now the…

Good bristles, WEAK grip. I mean WEAK!

What did I expect for $10? Well I was expecting the bristles to be very soft and squishy straight away. Not this case. The brush is actually pretty good. This handle, especially the wrist between the handle and the head, is so thin, so flimsy, and so fragile that every brush in this 15-pack broke the moment I used it. Since the bristles are acceptable I started pinching the broken heads with pliers and they clean perfectly. But if I had known the handles are the thinnest material ever made I…

Couldn't be cheaper

These brushes are for gentle use only. There is no way to remove sweat slag. I used them to remove rust from some gun magazines I foolishly left in a wicker basket. Tip: Do not leave spare parts for weapons in the wicker basket. They did an excellent job of removing surface rust without leaving any scratches. We are talking about fine rust film, not rust film.
