Warning: Caution: Most polarized plugs will not fit in these outlets. I figured I could replace the existing ports and get all the current features *plus* the ability to connect USB cables. I ordered two packs and found they were only rated for 2 amps per plug. 1 pack is listed at 2.4 amps. I did a lot of searching for a high force plug and found it so I looked at all the specs and was happy, but when I changed it to 2 plugs it obviously changed all the specs I was looking at as well. I thought with the high power amp advertised it would charge my Google Nexus 6P as fast as the wall wart that came with the phone. After installing an outlet and testing my phone on it, I regret that it doesn't. It doesn't show a "fast charge" message, just "charging" and definitely doesn't charge that fast based on a 1% battery boost after plugging it in for 3 or 4 minutes. Great little product, a simple and nice upgrade for any home. It is very well made, high quality and looks great. We tried charging all sorts of devices from different brands, no problem. iPad, iPhone, bluetooth speakers, remotes, controllers, etc. The only downside is that it cannot be used with switched outlets as it only plugs into one circuit. Received a double pack today and installed the sockets straight away. Each socket is supplied with 2 covers (with latches and with screws). Both fit well. The package also includes 2 short USB cables (Type A to Micro). Fits easily into standard sockets. Internal dimensions are approximately: 2-5/8" tall, 1-3/4" wide, and 1-3/8" deep (see pictures). All in all a fantastic idea. Really cleans up the area compared to charging bricks and outlet splitters. I get "Fast Charge" on my first gen Google Pixel and it's great.
