Great shoes! (from someone who has tried millions)

I've tried about 15 different brands of sneakers over the past few years and have never written a review. Brands range from Hoka to Nike and Altra to Xeroshoes/Vivobarefoot and everything in between. Can't recommend them enough after driving about 100 miles in the last month. If you're worried about trying them out, the customer service is amazing. Basically, I can't say enough good things. PS, girls with wide feet, order the men's version, the women's version has gone narrow (but I also have…

Pros
  • Shoes fit perfectly and very good quality. I will become a regular customer!
Cons
  • Expensive compared to other running shoes.

Very comfortable shoes

The shoes are very comfortable with a very wide toe box. The width easily accommodates wearing toe supports. The shoes are very light and flexible. The sole wears out very quickly. The shoe is advertised as a running shoe but offers little to no cushioning when running compared to more traditional running shoes.

Pros
  • Made from durable materials that can withstand heavy use
Cons
  • Not suitable for people who require extra padding or padding in their shoes.

To be honest.

To be honest I'm disappointed after the first two runs. The overall quality seems great but unfortunately I felt like the soles of my feet could feel holes in the foam of the sole and my soles were sore after my first run which was actually 11 miles. I hope if I break them they'll get more comfortable but I didn't want to try them again because they just didn't feel very comfortable and most of my runs are now 10 miles. I want to like them and will continue to try them and hope they become more

Pros
  • Provides excellent arch support for comfort during long runs and sports.
Cons
  • Not suitable for people who require special shoe properties such as waterproofing or insulation.

Ideal for travel and light packing!

The foldable heel is a killer feature. These are the best shoes I've found for carry-on only trips that don't eat up half the bag. Ideal for hiking and training from day one. If you're a runner and need more cushioning, they may feel a little lighter and approach barefoot. Solid build quality. highlighted.

Pros
  • Excelentes para la mobility de los pies y así poder form unos pies fuertes
Cons
  • Not suitable for competitive or professional athletes

Sole falls off after 21 miles

I bought this Topo shoe less than 2 months ago. I only wear them when I run, which is 3 miles a week. That means I've only run about 21 miles on them. I don't wear them for anything other than running. I always run on the track and although they are new as you can see in the picture the sole is starting to come off. These are comfortable shoes. but the fact that it breaks after only 7 uses made everything bad. I don't recommend if you want to work with abstracts.

Pros
  • Provides excellent traction on a variety of surfaces including pavement, gravel and mud.
Cons
  • May be too heavy for some runners

Great minimalist shoe

I run short distances, 4 miles or less in them and they are great. Provide plenty of room for your toes. I have a wide midfoot which unfortunately causes my 5th metatarsal joint to rub against the side of the shoe. This happens with most running shoes, but with the theses it's pretty noticeable in about my first mile. After that the pain goes away. My unique situation aside, the shoe is made of a durable material and I would buy it again, maybe in a larger size to avoid a midfoot problem.

Pros
  • Helps transition from heel to midfoot landing, which can reduce the risk of injury.
Cons
  • May be uncomfortable for people with wide feet.

The perfect balance between Merrells and Altras.

I bet I would ship them overseas and am very glad I did. I've loved the Merrell Bare Access and Trail glove lines for years, but recent changes in sizing and fit have completely ruined them for me. I tried a pair of Altra Escalante 2 hoping to find shoes with zero drop and a little more cushioning. I found the banana-shaped soles to be unnaturally curved and so soft that parts of my feet went numb as I walked. The ST-3s were the perfect balance. Naturally lined roomy toe box. More cushioning…

Pros
  • Manufactured in a versatile black and gray color scheme that will complement a variety of outfits.
Cons
  • May not be breathable enough for summer runs

New favorite: my review

I was looking for a replacement for my old Scoras which had done 1200 miles and was slowly starting to fall apart. Tried several Saucony racing shoes but they never fit. These fit very well. The size fits perfectly (I wear 10). The toe is wide. The cushioning is enough that you can still feel the run but don't experience excessive pain. Overall I am happy with this replacement.

Pros
  • Lightweight design for fast and agile movement on or off road.
Cons
  • Might not fit

Light and comfortable

The best thing about these shoes is the wide toe box. I would have liked a little less padding in the sole, but at least it doesn't have the stupid marketing gimmicks that other sneaker companies put in their soles. This is my second pair of topos (I had an ST-2) and they fit fairly well in a lightweight shoe.

Pros
  • Ideal for runners with high arches or flat feet who need extra support and cushioning during their workout.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for those with high arches.

8 pairs and count!

I love these shoes! I looked through 5 pairs of ST-2s and just bought 3 pairs of ST-3s. For me, the most important thing is once you find a shoe that you like from a regular big brand; You go and make big changes next year and you're back in the shoe dating game! I could keep buying the ST series and right now I'm a life person. The shoe is light and gives a pleasant feeling on the ground. I really like that the treatment shell is all fabric so it's fairly compact in my bag for travel or going…

Pros
  • Provides a snug and secure fit, minimizing the risk of foot slip or discomfort.
Cons
  • May cause slipping on uneven surfaces

Ok, but is st-2 better? The time will show.

Feels different than st-2. I haven't decided yet if I like this change, but it's a really good shoe for fast running. St-2 seems more stable, but overall St-3 is a bit more comfortable.

Pros
  • Good light shoe with no fall.
Cons
  • May not be strong enough to last long

Topo shoes are great!

These are wide toe boxes and minimalist. This model has excellent cushioning for road running and is very comfortable overall. My third pair of topos. The other two are good running shoes. I'm glad Topo is working on the design as some designs are less than desirable. But these look sharp.

Pros
  • These shoes are exactly what I wanted - a bit of minimalism and a negative heel. Very convenient.
Cons
  • Not suitable for running on surfaces other than roads.

Great iteration from a great company!

As a Topo Athletic Ambassador I have tested and reviewed MANY Topo shoes and to be honest the ST-2 (the previous version of this shoe) was at the bottom of the list. The ST-2 felt too soft and flexible for what I was looking for in a shoe of this weight class. Luckily Tony and company seem to listen to their customers as the ST-3 is a huge improvement over the ST-2. The new overlay is lighter and more breathable and provides more stiffness in the middle of the boot, making this shoe feel more…

Pros
  • Comfortable. Light. Fits as expected.
Cons
  • Limited sizes available

The best needs improvement in my rating

I usually wear Altra shoes and wanted to try something new. In short, topographic shoes are less comfortable, although both brands are very wide. My little fingers hurt a little when I put on my topo for the first time. I hope to feel better afterwards, then the shoes won't go to waste

Pros
  • Nice wide toe
Cons
  • May not provide adequate arch support

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Oversized for my height

I don't run in them, I use them for indoor martial arts shoes and I wanted a shoe with minimal drop and a large toe box. I am a size 14 and was very surprised that this shoe could go half a size up. Two pairs of socks are better, but feet really float in these boots. I might try size 13 next time although they hold up very well.

Pros
  • The breathable mesh upper keeps your feet cool and dry during high-intensity activities.
Cons
  • May not provide enough flexibility for natural foot movement

please do me more good

I just got my second pair and the first ones have already kicked the floor. Surprisingly the durability was very good, around 500-600 miles. I've used them for treadmill work, tempo runs, and strength/cross training. They also work as casual shoes. A practically unique shoe that does everything for the minimalist.

Pros
  • Easy to clean and maintain, making them a great investment for long-term use.
Cons
  • Some buyers may not find it aesthetically pleasing

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The size is smaller. in my rating

The fit of the shoe was smaller, the toe pocket much smaller. Trying on a size 12. I wore 11.5 at St-2. Before the exchange it was two couples. I don't like the new one either.

Pros
  • Sleek design that combines style and performance
Cons
  • May not provide adequate traction on wet surfaces.

Really great running shoes

I run 4 miles 4 or 5 days a week in these shoes and they are great. I probably spent a little more on them than I usually spend on sneakers, but it was worth it. I found the size to be slightly larger than the Nike or Under Armor I usually buy. I have always worn 10 1/2 but at TOPO they slipped off my heels. Returned them for 10 and they fit perfectly.

Pros
  • Ideal for runners and athletes who prefer a minimalist shoe that allows them to adapt to their natural running form.
Cons
  • May not provide adequate stability for those with ankle or knee problems

My new favorite shoes

Things I like: - Low heel drop 0mm - Wide toe box - Durable midsole - Lots of rubber outsole I really wanted to like the Escalantes but they just didn't fit me. The Escalante has a much softer midsole and feels marshmallow to me. Also, there isn't much rubber on the sole, so it wore out very quickly. The Topo ST-3 has a much more durable midsole and more rubber. It works much better for me. Very happy with my purchase. So far I haven't found anything I didn't like. I've put about 30 miles in…

Pros
  • Men's
Cons
  • Almost never

Go-to sneakers are now the best among men

Looking for comfortable shoes with no fit? That's it. I reviewed various 0 drop running shoes that are the best out there in 2020 (for website work) and found this shoe to have a sleek design while still offering the benefits of barefoot running. Before ordering, be sure to look at the size chart online and measure your foot. I got the size straight away and DEFINITELY felt the difference between this shoe and other bulky shoes. They're lightweight and really let you focus on form and honesty…

Pros
  • Running
Cons
  • I'm nervous
