Things I like: - Low heel drop 0mm - Wide toe box - Durable midsole - Lots of rubber outsole I really wanted to like the Escalantes but they just didn't fit me. The Escalante has a much softer midsole and feels marshmallow to me. Also, there isn't much rubber on the sole, so it wore out very quickly. The Topo ST-3 has a much more durable midsole and more rubber. It works much better for me. Very happy with my purchase. So far I haven't found anything I didn't like. I've put about 30 miles in the shoes and everything is going well, there are no hot spots anywhere, the fit feels good when running and is comfortable for me. We'll see how they hold up over time, but I think they'll work very well.
