The nut is worth it for blind rivets

This visually very attractive tool is completely inadequate, firstly the handles do not offer enough leverage for large rivet nuts, from M6 you have to put up with the hulk, but then comes the double blow - the threads of the included nuts just can't take that kind of force, they just rip apart (the hulk is my neighbor) so this device really is half of what I imagined, hmm I ended up with a bigger one , less fancy unnamed device, a hardware-level device that worked well on all nut sizes.

โ€œWorks as advertised - very useful tool

rivet nut tool kit works exactly as advertised and has proved very useful, good value for money and I would definitely recommend. The guide is easy to use. and the tool is easy to set up every time. The number of rivet nuts included in the kit is enough to get you started on most projects and they have done a good job of providing more smaller rivet nuts than there are likely to be ones , which are used more frequently. The only slightly negative comment is that the carrying case (hard plastic)

Works well for the price

Item received but after a few uses. The threads on the tool are short lived so make sure you have a tap and die set or consider getting more threads in the kit. Look at the picture and look at the shiny metal above, it doesn't last long and doesn't hold up well.

Fur in an emergency

I've had this for over a year and haven't used it much, it can only be used for aluminum inserts, mandrels remove inserts very easily and bend, only got it for its small size, my Astro wrench works well better and I use it regularly, it's just sometimes too much. So if you need one for hard to reach places and don't need Steele inserts this will work, just use lube on the threads and be careful with it.

Nut is worth it

This very nice tool is quite inadequate, firstly the handles don't give enough leverage for large rivet nuts, from M6 onwards you should be familiar with the Hulk, but then comes the double whammy. - the threads on the included nuts just can't take that kind of exertion, they just rip apart (Hulk is my neighbor) so this device really is half what I thought I was getting, SMS, I ended up with a bigger one , less posh, unnamed device on hardware that worked well for all nut sizes
