It keeps her dry but she won't walk in it. I'm afraid if you pull the latches too hard the plastic will tear and the latches will fall out. There is no hole for the leash, I had to cut one out and of course the hole around it was reinforced. Subject to further interruption.

They didn't hold up well with my dogs. The size was big. My dogs behave colder with them. Hoods hang in their line of sight. Mine used them twice and never again. I'm not sure what to do with them. I don't want to resell because I don't want to get a bad review from them.

I only gave 4 stars because it runs small but it's a great little raincoat. The hood covers the head so the whole head and ears stay dry. The transparent part is thin but of good quality. The clasps didn't come apart or break so it's a good buy for the price, just order a size up.

Maybe it's just my dog, but while everything else about this coat fits well, the belly/chest strap doesn't fit my 14 inch neck-to-tail/belly/chest dog . Very short. My Maltese has an 18 inch chest (not heavy, just that) and I would have to sew two waist straps together to get the coat to fit properly on the back. Luckily I bought 2 coats and can do it.

I live in Washington State. It rains a lot. I have a Yorkie that has a lot of hair. This is my second purchase of this coat because it outweighed the first! This is good for keeping him dry. The hood is stiff enough to cover the head well. It takes a little effort to figure out how to put it on, but it's worth it. He hangs long enough to keep his feet dry. My neighbors think it's funny, but if I bring him I only have to take care of his legs. I highly recommend it.

I ordered this medium sized raincoat for my 4 month old half King Charles Cavalier/half Cocker Spaniel puppy who weighs 14 pounds. It actually fits her perfectly on the smallest row of snaps, which is great as it leaves room to grow with the other row. It has two buttons on the front of the chest and one under the belly, its length is just right for my dog and I like that the material is on the thinner side because my dog can move more freely.
