Beautiful and powerful

For those confused, the seller recommended driver (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074TBMC7N) definitely works, even with mains power on Power supply 48V. Although V=IR implies that 48V must exceed the nominal 4.2A at 0.9Ω impedance of this motor, the driver regulates the output, so such a driver can be used even if the driver's power supply is a has higher voltage than would be acceptable motor. Direct connection motor.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Very important. Good performance.

Good motor for the money. Ezcnc manufactures professional CNC machines and mainly uses high-end motors like Oriental Motor, but we use them on the "Z" axis from time to time. You have held up well. Construction and finish are beautiful. The wires are a bit low and they don't stand up to heavy cycling. Rotor inertia is high, but expected from an inexpensive motor. I recommend them for light loads where the torque does not exceed 50% of the rated torque. They fail quickly when pressed. For higher

  • Handy thing

  • So far so good

Great stepper!

This stepper motor fits my application very well and exceeded my expectations. 2200 RPM, which translates to 11,000 mm/min or over 400 inches per minute for a 5mm pitch. The mass moved during these tests was 60 pounds. Of course, the torque at this speed is practically negligible for a given voltage, but it is still an indicator of where the limits are. Some details of the tested setup are given below. Motor driver: M542T (4:1 microstepping). Power supply: 48V/5A (adjusted to 49.5V). Meanwell…
