This product is almost perfect...my only complaint is that the slot trim is now the wrong shape since I've been using it in the CD slot. Where the tabs meet the slot, the lining lifts to reveal the actual CD compartment. It's a cosmetic issue that doesn't really matter, but is a bit annoying.

I have just received this item. But so far I like it. Holds my phone pretty tight (iPhone 11 Pro Max). For years I have used an auction holder attached to my window. I like it because it leaves no marks on my window. It's small so it doesn't block or press any button on my car's dashboard.

Extra strong magnet! Super durable. This thing is SUPER! I've tried some super cheap Chinese crap versions of it. They all sucked. This one, on the other hand, is actually pretty damn good. The magnet is very strong. My car is a sports car so it drives a little bumpy but my phone won't even pick up. Well done. Go boys. Thanks for doing something that doesn't suck this time.

I have used several magnetic phone holders over the years and this is by far the most durable. And that means! It held my Note 9 even without the metal plate (wireless charging coils in the phone). If I try to remove the phone I have to be careful not to rip out the entire attachment system. To be clear my metal plate is on the outside of the phone's body, if you put it in it would make a lot more sense. I would recommend it to people who drive off-road or like to drive more "dynamic".

After getting fed up with the CD slot phone holder I used to keep falling out of, I settled on this solid device. Instead of a "flap" under the old mount that fails over time, it has a handle that lets you control the pressure on the CD slot to make sure the mount/phone doesn't go anywhere. Love it. Finally one that works. The "A/C Vent Adapter" will not integrate into my car or cars with box slots. As such it's useless to me, but I bought it for the CD slot, not the AD openings.

I liked this product when I saw it online. I was a bit startled when I read a review that said it didn't fit their 2017 Ford Escape. I've tried it in both the CD player and the air vent. Both worked great. The only advice I can give is to carefully remove the phone from the magnetic mount. The magnet is very strong. I was skeptical. I had a phone holder with suction cups (2 different ones) and after a few months they stopped sticking. A year ago I had one that matched the air vents and it was a 2003 Toyota. It worked fine on those old air vents, but I've never been able to use them since because the air vents are too thick these days. This phone holder is a brilliant product. I used to have a similar mount from another vendor. Eventually the friction mount attached to the vent would wear out and the mount would come loose with the phone. This mount has a clamp that is mechanically tightened and works very well - no slipping. The mechanism protrudes slightly from the dash, so the CD holder for my car didn't leave enough space between the phone and the manual shifter, but my CD slot is a little lower on the dash. I use the vent mount with no problems.

Super seller! The product corresponds to the description and works very well. The magnets are very strong and will stick to your phone and keep it secure until you physically remove it. To give you an idea of how durable they are, I attached an extra battery and case to my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 with a thin metal plate on the back. I've used different types of iPhone car mounts since the iPhone 5. I've used "vent mounts" and "window mounts" but never a "CD player mount". I bought two of these, one for the Mercedes CLS class and one for the Mercedes GLE. The one for the GLE fits perfectly out of the box and I didn't have to "fiddle" with it at all and the mount is solid as a rock, doesn't wobble, bend or rattle.
