.used when applying polyurethane.

A bit tricky when applying polyurethane or latex paint as the sponge creates small bubbles, but once you get the hang of it this brush becomes very handy.

Pros
  • Good stuff
Cons
  • Modern

Cheap Disposable Brushes

Use them as disposable brushes to finish projects. Anyone commenting on durability is either pushing too hard and expecting more than is reasonable from a foam brush. Great work for me!

Pros
  • I Keep My Fists Too Blunt

Pros: Inexpensive. Cons: Cheap.

Very cheap. If you're looking for a foam brush that you can use to paint an entire table or paint a range of surfaces, this isn't for you. If you want something that you can use within 1/2 hour and don't have to clean up, then this works great! I use them to define knots with shellac and then throw them away.

Pros
  • Suitable for many people
Cons
  • Sun-Sun

Good Product - Foam Brushes

Use as an applicator for sticking table tennis rubbers. Much better than the little sponges that come with glue or other applicators you can buy. They're much wider, allowing me to apply glue faster, and the sharp head shape makes it easy to get to the hard-to-reach area near the blade handle without changing the direction of the brush to the side.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging

Brushes disintegrate in minutes

I used these brushes to apply stain and top coat to wooden furniture. They didn't last at all; after a few minutes of use any adhesive holding the foam to the plastic insert loosened causing the foam and pen to abruptly separate. This happened with EVERY BRUSH so it definitely wasn't a random event. I was able to verify this by going through all 48 brushes with amazing speed.

Pros
  • Polyester foam can be used with oil and water based paints.
Cons

Durable brushes last longer than the competition

I use these brushes to apply wood stain and Danish oil. I have searched many providers but this is the best I could find. They are durable and don't break as easily as others. The foam looks much denser and fuller. Competitors have large air holes in the foam, causing the brushes to break much faster. The price is competitive, which makes my purchasing decision easier. NO MORE searching! I have found my brand!

Pros
  • Economical pack of 48 reusable 2" wide foam brushes.
Cons
  • Expensive

My first bad review!

I don't usually write reviews, especially bad ones, but I wouldn't recommend these brushes. The foam is too weak and the brush does not stick. It just deforms and you draw with the flat part next to the pen. I used "Jen" brushes to apply the epoxy but they were out of stock so I bought them in a pack of 48. Epoxy [West System] which is maybe a bit thicker than latex paint and frankly completely useless. I'm sorry to write a bad review but I can't imagine a manufacturer ever using it to apply…

Pros
  • Easy to use and clean. No brush marks after use.
Cons
  • Off fashion
