I used this to import VHS and Super 8 videos to my computer. I am using Windows 10 with PowerDirector 15 as recording and editing software. I didn't install the capture software from the TOTMC disk, only the drivers for the capture device. My film program recognized the signal and I kept running. Drivers on hard drive are very buggy/poorly written. If you experience problems, you may need to restart your computer. If that doesn't help, stand on one foot, jump around in a circle, and say the alphabet backwards 17.5 times (no more, no less).
