10.1 inch ASUS Transformer Book T100 T100TA-C1-GR Touch Screen Glass Digitizer Replacement Review

Installation was pretty easy, more to do with the tablet's design, but the screen fitted perfectly. The fit is good. I bought it to replace the screen which had cracked quite badly from a fall. Once installed, the touch doesn't work very well, you have to press the screen very hard for something to happen. I've considered buying another one to see if it gets my hands on it, but I can't justify spending money just to see if it works.

Unfortunately, this touch screen was not the right size for my computer. Not the company's fault, but I only discovered this after having a few weeks before attempting to fix the screen. I guess I'm just stuck with it now since I had the repairs done professionally instead of doing it myself.

Perfect fit, great quality. The touchscreen I received is labeled asus. No additional adhesive is required, use a hot air heat source and the touchscreen should peel off without difficulty or damage to the bezel, leaving the original adhesive on the bezel for reinstallation. The scene is 100% accurate to the OEM part. I watched 2 videos on YouTube on how to remove an old digitizer. It can be a pain in the ass of sorts, a heat gun or blow dryer is a must. I used a hair dryer which worked perfectly. You must be careful when removing the old screen with the adhesive as it is the only thing holding the digitizer to the frame. This item sold by TheCoolCube had an oil film on the inside of the digitizer when you removed the protective film. It should be clean and free of dust, fingerprints, etc. You don't need to clean the inside of the digitizer before installation. I've installed a lot of screens so I check them out, but for those that don't, you'll need to remove, clean, and replace this part. Edited two and a half years later just to say it still works great! It was the first time I did something like this and it worked great. I did not remove the LCD/frame assembly like some videos do. I used: lots of patience; gentle low-temperature heat gun; Dust-/lint-free workplace; antistatic mat and wrist strap; 24 Piece Muder Plunge Tool Set; lots of screen cleaning wipes and aerosol electronics cleaner + time and care to get some glue that I accidentally smeared on the LCD surface and…
