I bought this for the school lunches. However, it is very difficult for my little ones to open them without spilling everything inside. They threw food on the table and only tried to use a tiny bottle opener. This is leakproof. IF!. Make sure it's fully closed. It's so easy to accidentally leave a section open. These containers are good, but not perfect.

Don't waste your money. They can be found at any store, especially stores like Sam's Club or Costco, and they're a lot cheaper. I thought since they are more expensive and they claim to be dishwasher safe and reusable they would be, but they are NOT! This is similar to what restaurants use for dipping spices. They also split so make sure they don't break/split and they end up in your food.

An artist friend recommended these containers for storing SheleeArt acrylic fill paints. I later learned that the quality of these containers is not what it used to be. They are thin and very difficult to close. Today I broke one of the caps trying to put the cap back on. If you're thinking of buying these for paint storage, I suggest you skip them.

I bought these because I didn't use the paint. They do not look like the picture as they are larger and smaller than advertised. The hinge on each already feels tight and will likely break with very little use; BUT the lids close tightly which I really like and if the hinge breaks it won't affect the function of the lid. I can honestly say they are durable as they just arrived but they feel that way. Overall I would recommend them to anyone who doesn't care if the lid is hinged.

Delivery was lightning fast! While they might be useful to others, I was afraid to use them to store mixed paint. So good! We use them for my kids' school lunches (5, 4, 4). They're the perfect size for custard/jelly/applesauce or I fill them 1/4 or 1/2 full with condiments and salad dressings.
