Works well, difficult to install

The old harness connectors were just plug and play. Newer vehicle designs do not provide enough power to turn on the trailer lights, so a wiring harness must be used that has a separate wire to the battery. This works very well, but be aware that it takes extra time.

A little more effort but should stay cleaner

Took a little more effort but instead of installing the connector and wiring under my 2014 GMC Terrain I placed it in the tailgate in the trunk. spare wheel compartment. To do this, it was necessary to route a blown wire from the fuse box in the engine compartment to the passenger compartment, through the front door hinge on the driver's side, then through the weatherstrip and plastic door sill under the door to the service compartment on the driver's rear. This is where I installed the control

Works great but you will need additional parts

The only thing giving this 4 stars instead of 5 stars is the fact that the wire stiffness is not long enough to run from one the taillights. on the other hand. You have to put in another 3-4 feet of wire (and 2 connectors) to make it accessible, at least that was the case with my 2011 GMC Terrian. Installation was pretty easy, I watched a few videos beforehand so I had a good idea of what I was doing. The hardest part is routing the black power wire to the battery and finding good spots to…

Bought on another recommendation.

After looking at other connector types and reading reviews, I bought the T-One. Other reviews were accurate. Basically and easy installation. It's a little tricky to connect the hot wire directly to the battery. Another review notes that the double-sided tape used to attach the control module could be improved. That part was an understatement. Double sided tape doesn't work at all. No matter how carefully you clean the place where you want to attach the module, it will not stick well. In the…
