The best cutter and it lasts forever!

This is my second Toyo TC10. The first lasted 30 years. Still works but thought I needed a replacement head. It only cost a few dollars to buy a new cutter, so I went that route. This cutter is a workhorse. A great tool that gives the user full control over grinding glass and cutting detail.

Pros
  • Glass cutting tools
Cons
  • Very expensive

Spend extra money!

I got a cheaper glass cutter for Christmas and while it's ok, this one is WAY BETTER! If you're serious about stained glass, invest in a heavier cutter with a small head like this one. My only suggestion would be to find a similar one with a spherical head rather than a hex head (although it still works well for tapping on glass).

Pros
  • Craft Supplies
Cons
  • Big and Bulky

If Snap-on had made a glass cutter.

It would be exactly the same but in red. This is a quality tool with a metal body that works great. and it works. Measures just the right amount of oil, no dripping mess like cheap cutters. I remove the cap when I use it to allow the oil tank to vent and close it when I store it. I've heard people complain about leaks, but mine doesn't leak a drop even when it's in the tool box. Simply tighten the cap just enough to allow the o-ring to seal during storage, and when in use, unscrew it about 1/2…

Pros
  • Crafts and Sewing
Cons
  • Doubtful
