We recently moved into a house that didn't have wired ethernet so we bought two of these WiFi cards. Both worked well with standard 2.4GHz WiFi or the newer, faster 5G version. (Bluetooth worked, too, but I immediately turned it off.) The antennas provide strong reception from opposite ends of the house. Took about 4 months

I think as with any technical problem it can be difficult to pinpoint the exact cause of the problem. Is the problem hardware, software, or user related? However, I put my new system together back in June 2020 and it was working fine about 2 weeks ago. Then a pattern emerged. The computer booted up with no problems and connected to my wireless AC network. Then, after about an hour, the connection dropped and intermittently connected and disconnected from the network.
