Good product. No leaks

Excellent product. No leaks. Easier to use than a standard Chevy style screw-in adapter. Just use PH8A instead of PH30.

1967 CHEVY 327 Filter Adapter Bolt

I have a canister shaped oil filter block that was found on pre 1968 Chevy engines. This removes old stock and allows the use of a spin-on filter. I tried another "Mr G" style and didn't like it very much. I don't know why but I bought this one and it's not leaking anymore.

Waste of money in my opinion

After installing the kit, the engine was flooded with oil. The gasket included in the kit is not thick enough to seal the oil filter. I don't see how it could have been set differently. The supplied screws were the wrong size so the original screws had to be reused. The problem with reusing the original screws is that they have a cap that now allows the screw to fit into the adapter. I had to sharpen the cap to leave a gap on the adapter. Pure waste of money in my opinion.
